Customer Service/No Whining Policy

People are busy. REALLY busy. We know, because we're busy, too. So we want to make it easier for you, by trying to give you reasonably priced, convienient to pickup food.

The volunteers (read: unpaid, dogloving fools) who make the coop happen either by running the list, or providing a droppoint at their homes, offering help and advice, etc are all people with the best intentions, doing the best they can. They're taking time of of their busy lives to help make sure you can get some decent food for your dog, with no ulterior motives. They do so with a really good sense of humor, and a healthy dose of patience.

Every year, this coop, with no membership fees, runs at a deficit absorbed by coop management (happily!) and will always do so.

We recognize that we cannot be everything to everybody, but we earnestly try. We try to help the most people- but occasionally we might not be able to be a good solution for someone. The locations aren't convienient enough, the times aren't convienient enough, the products still too expensive, out of stock, etc. We sincerely apologize in advance if this is the case.

THE NO WHINING POLICY

You are unhappy with the food:
Proactive response: sometimes, this can be fixed. for instance, if there is an inconsistency, let us know. If you'd like the food another way, Suzy's if really great about custom grinds, so long as you order a minimum of 100 lbs. Please contact Suzy's directly for this at 623-933-1518.

Response to bitching: we suggest another vendor, there are many national brands, a few local brands, and you might even be able to convince your own butcher, or buy a grinder and make your own.

You are unhappy with dropoff locations:
Proactive response: we are ALWAYS more than happy to include another dropoff location assuming there is a.) demand and b) a willing droppoint person. To be a droppoint, keep in mind you will need to commit to a once a month drop atleast 10 months out of the year, you will need a place to put atleast 1000 lbs of food in your home with airconditioning for the day, and will likely need to make a few phone calls, send a few emails, and help carry the food to and from customers cars if they cannot themselves, and help Suzy unload it all. You'll need to have either a weekday or a Saturday that you're willing to hang out at home all day waiting for people to pickup, and you'll need to give your floor a really thorough mopping at the end of the day. Did I mention this was an unpaid, volunteer position? ;) If you're still interested, shoot us an email.

Response to bitching: Pay the individual delivery fee to have it brought right to the front door of your choice at the time of your choice, this is outside the coop, order directly from Suzy's at 623-933-1518. You will also not receive the coop discount.

You are unhappy with the volunteers:
Proactive response: We're really sorry. We can't help everyone, we're just doing our best. We are always happy to hear reasonable complaints, and those are usually the kind we get.

Response to bitching: I know, we're all busy, and there is nothing like a good venting session occasionally when life gets you down. We just ask that before you call us, call Suzy's, email us, email the list, create flyers, hire the goodyear blimp or send flying monkeys our way, you take a deep breath and just remain calm. We're totally reasonable people that will hear a reasonable complaint and respond reasonably. Believe it or not, we WANT you to be happy. But as volunteers, if you do entertain any of the above options with any sense of obnoxiousness, self righteousness, aggression or unreasonableness.... we're pretty much going to ignore you. And draw funny pictures of you to put on our dartboard:)

Please remember, we get a sizeable discount on our food because we self maintain. So we ask that you use this escalation process for complaints:

a friendly redhead with 10 years of client management experience, a really awesome doberman named lucy and the founder of the coop, if she can't help you, she will refer you to who can. If that does not meet your satisfaction:

2. Contact Suzy's Doggie Delights: a group of ridiculously friendly dog owner/breeders who feed their own dogs raw, and are very good natured about working with people. Please email first, tlc(insert at here)adobehills.us, Susan responds within a day. If you are still unhappy, call her at 623-933-1518. If this STILL doesn't meet your satisfaction:

3. Send angry email is red all caps to the group with incindiary title like, "you suck" or "i was ripped off" and register azcoopsucks.com and blog daily about the atrocities of it all. Form alternative coop so you can do it "the right way". We'll see you back in 6 months.

To everyone who helps make it happen, you rock. To everyone who thanks us when you pickup, you rock. Suzy's Doggie Delights definitely rocks, and most importantly, our dogs rock, and you all definitely rock for trying to take care of them well by feeding them better. So go rock on :)
