Customer Service/No Whining PolicyPeople are busy. REALLY busy. We know, because we're busy, too. So we want to make it easier for you, by trying to give you reasonably priced, convienient to pickup food. The volunteers (read: unpaid, dogloving fools) who make the coop happen either by running the list, or providing a droppoint at their homes, offering help and advice, etc are all people with the best intentions, doing the best they can. They're taking time of of their busy lives to help make sure you can get some decent food for your dog, with no ulterior motives. They do so with a really good sense of humor, and a healthy dose of patience. Every year, this coop, with no membership fees, runs at a deficit absorbed by coop management (happily!) and will always do so. We recognize that we cannot be everything to everybody, but we earnestly try. We try to help the most people- but occasionally we might not be able to be a good solution for someone. The locations aren't convienient enough, the times aren't convienient enough, the products still too expensive, out of stock, etc. We sincerely apologize in advance if this is the case. THE NO WHINING POLICY You are unhappy with the food: Response to bitching: we suggest another vendor, there are many national brands, a few local brands, and you might even be able to convince your own butcher, or buy a grinder and make your own. You are unhappy with dropoff locations: Response to bitching: Pay the individual delivery fee to have it brought right to the front door of your choice at the time of your choice, this is outside the coop, order directly from Suzy's at 623-933-1518. You will also not receive the coop discount. You are unhappy with the volunteers: Response to bitching: I know, we're all busy, and there is nothing like a good venting session occasionally when life gets you down. We just ask that before you call us, call Suzy's, email us, email the list, create flyers, hire the goodyear blimp or send flying monkeys our way, you take a deep breath and just remain calm. We're totally reasonable people that will hear a reasonable complaint and respond reasonably. Believe it or not, we WANT you to be happy. But as volunteers, if you do entertain any of the above options with any sense of obnoxiousness, self righteousness, aggression or unreasonableness.... we're pretty much going to ignore you. Send angry email is red all caps to the group with incindiary title like, "you suck" or "i was ripped off" and register azcoopsucks.com and blog daily about the atrocities of it all. Form alternative coop so you can do it "the right way". We'll see you back in 6 months. THE COOP IS A PRIVILEDGE, NOT A RIGHT To everyone who helps make it happen, you rock. To everyone who thanks us when you pickup, you rock.
